This expertise was top of mind when called upon, by Warren Ali, VP of Innovation at Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association (APMA) during the pandemic to support the supply chain needs of Canadian ventilator manufacturers.
As our VP of Business Development explained:
“Ventilators need pressure sensors. The ones being used in many of the ventilators on the market today have been made in the US by Honeywell, primarily for the US market. There was concern that Canadian ventilator manufacturers might not be able to get those pressure sensors in time to save lives.”
ForceN’s alternative to the Honeywell sensor provided Canadian manufacturers with an alternative until Honeywell could ramp up production to match US and international demand. Read the full article here!
